Welcome to the FIU Festival of Bands!

February 8 – 9, 2019

For the eleventh year in a row, the FIU Annual Festival of Bands is back! With your involvement, we can make it bigger and better than ever!

Each year, up to 12 area bands will be chosen to perform their MPA musical program in an onstage clinic within the acoustically superior Wertheim Performing Arts Center Concert Hall, where they will receive written and recorded feedback by the FIU Director of Bands Barry Bernhardt,  FIU faculty and guest clinicians.

This year’s festival will culminate in a side-by-side concert with participating high school bands and the FIU Wind Ensemble. Directed by Dr. Brenton F. Alston.

Bands will be chosen on a first come, first served basis and at NO CHARGE to directors and their bands. Register by February 1st before you miss out on this opportunity!
