Message to Students

Dear Music Students,

Welcome back to another exhilarating semester at the FIU Wertheim School of Music & Performing Arts, also lovingly known as ‘The Wertheim!”

I hope you had a restful and invigorating break, ready to dive into a semester of musical exploration and personal growth. As the Director of The Wertheim, I am absolutely thrilled to be part of this talented community and witness the remarkable passion and dedication each of you brings to our musical family. Our faculty and staff have been working tirelessly to curate an enriching curriculum, engaging performances, and countless opportunities for collaboration and artistic expression.

I invite you to immerse yourself in the pages of our inaugural magazine, Crescendo (Spring 2023), which captures the essence of our growth and achievements as an institution over the past year. Let’s harness the momentum and carry it forward into the new year. Explore Crescendo, Issue I (Spring 2023) by FIU Wertheim School of Music & Performing Arts – Issuu.
