Community Outreach

The Lee Caplin School of Journalism & Media is a place where journalism and communications professionals from across the city, state and around the world gather to interact with students, faculty and each other. From small businesses and entrepreneur start-ups to well-established companies, the School provides a variety of opportunities for the community to partner and make a lasting impact. Each year, numerous conferences, workshops, training programs and seminars are hosted for everyone from international business journalists to high school journalism students and their teachers.

The Lee Caplin School of Journalism & Media partners with several professional media organizations to bring these programs and events to the school and to provide training, jobs and visibility for students and their work.
